How to (Sort of) cure Insomnia

Insomnia has plagued my entire life, but I have learned some tricks along the way to deal with it and now I get decent sleep most nights. I did go to a sleep clinic and have both straight insomnia and Apnea. But have you ever tried to wear a C-Pap? Hell no!

So here are my tricks 

#1 No caffeine period. No coffee, no Red Bull, this sucks but it does seem to help even though getting going in the morning is harder.

#2 No naps during the day at all.

#3 No electronics after 9-10pm gotta let my brain settle down.

#4 Ice bath before bed. Get cold and shiver as long as possible!

#5 Short meditation right before laying down.

Doing all of these seems VERY effective and I have been sleeping hard and through the night. Obviously I need to keep it up to see if they will work in the long term. And I will have to stay diligent. But its nice to sleep at least for now. Obviously the better health I stay in the more creative I can be and the easier it is for my brain to come up with ideas, and the easier it is for my body to execute these ideas.
